About Us

We have experienced so much together already, that sometimes it seems as if we've known each other for our whole lives. But in fact we only met each other for the first time about 6 or 7 years ago, at the athletics practice in Maxdorf. As we were definitely the oldest ones in the whole group (well, it was just "children's athletics"), it seemed quite natural to stick together and get to know each other better. Soon we found out, that we had quite a lot in common off-track as well, not just our joint interest in athletics: we both liked football supporting the same team (still today we prefer similar teams), we both liked reading books by John Grisham… and so on, and so on, we could continue this list much further, but probably that would be a little boring to read…
Although our ways in athletics soon parted (we both left Maxdorf, but continued in different teams), we still kept in contact of course, and have been almost some kind of inseparable since our time in Maxdorf. Even though we didn't attend the same school and we had separate friends, we still managed to do a lot of things together. Just to mention some of them: a short holiday in Munich during the EC in 2002, visiting the 4-Hills-Tournaments in Oberstdorf a couple of years ago, attending a concert of "The Rasmus" and, of course, our annual trips to Götzis in May. It's also much smaller things like a trip to the movies, a small "Fiesta Mexicana", spending a whole afternoon playing "The Sims" or an all night video party, that bind us together
Today, keeping in touch is even more difficult, as we are studying about 200 km apart from each other. But this way, every visit to Freiburg or a trip home becomes even more special, and we always find new things we could plan to do together, like a summer holiday in Ireland or visiting the Europapark for the third time in 3 years.
